What Adventure Beyond offers

We provide activities for groups of all ages, from day trips to week-long 'activity based' residential programmes. We deliver a fantastic service which will equip your pupils with life skills and unforgettable memories for life.

We are able to take groups of all abilities and adapt activity sessions to cater for Curriculum Development; learning about natural resources, whilst eliciting the strengths in your group, i.e. life skills. Our sessions will undoubtedly develop personal growth and confidence, and the broader skills of teamwork and problem-solving whilst having a wonderfully fun time.

'THE PERSONAL TOUCH' - the programmes are designed to meet your specific educational requirements. We use accommodation all over Wales and the UK enabling us to provide our service in any location. Our residential trips can include catering, transport, accommodation and field study/contrasting activities.

We are a team of dedicated, qualified and friendly instructors who endeavour to provide an inspiring outdoor experience. With a wealth of knowledge and vast amounts of experience you will find we are the perfect choice for you.

By tailoring the sessions to your needs we can make the experience truly amazing. Having a fun time does not mean you are not learning. As an example, whilst having fun you can learn invaluable lessons about water safety in a safe environment - this is priceless.

Our way of learning is experiential!

Our experiences for school children aim to address key elements of the National Curriculum in many areas (Key Stages 2 - 3 - 4). Our main focus is having fun and enjoying all activities, but while doing this there is an aspect of Environmental Studies, Sports and Outdoor Education, Geography and History.

Where we offer residential Camps?

The Great Outdoors; mother nature's classroom.

Learning in the outdoor environment is certainly a different experience for your students and we find it aids concentration and provides positive learning outcomes.

Can we change the Activities across the program?

Yes:

We are very adaptive at Adventure Beyond, the only limitation is the activities within the area you choose for adventure.

In West Wales there is no caving, and in the Brecon Beacons there is no coast for coasteering.

We find it better to choose activities for a region but we are happy to move around depending upon your needs.

How many nights can we stay for?

Its your choice

What Facilities do you have?

We use different types of accommodation in various locations depending upon your needs, each location has different facilities.

Do you cater for vegetarians?

Yes we can cater for most needs we just need to be aware of any special requirements prior to arrival.

Do your sites have Disabled Access?

Some of the locations do and some don't this can be discussed to make the most appropriate programme and accommodation for your needs.

At Adventure Beyond we believe that every thing is possible and we will always do everything we can to make it happen.

What group sizes can you accommodate?

Small to big groups can be accommodated and put through activities.

Can we walk to the activity site?

Yes depending upon the chosen activities, but we have found to give you the most from the trip we have found being able to drive to locations offers more options to you.

Do we need to be able to swim?

Not at all, we provide safety equipment which means every one floats. We often find that the activities help people either get over fears or help them on their way to enjoying water activities and encouraging them to learn.

Do pupils need to provide their own wetsuits?

No we have wet suits for all sizes.

If any one wishes to bring their own they can, the only thing is we would like to check that it is suitable for the activity, quite often people end up using our suits as they are good. We use full length winter wetsuits all year round to keep you warm and toastie.

Do you have equipment to fit all sizes?

Yes from teeny tiny to XXXL Adult

What do we need to bring

Depending upon the activities chosen and type of accommodation this varies. We will go through all of this information once programme has been made.

What if I have a medical condition?

Our Instructors are trained to deal with different situations, so we can easily accommodate people with diabeties, asthma, mild epilepsy, autism and more. Please contact us if you have any questions. If you require a waterproof container to bring medication please let us know in advance.
