All our staff are highly motivated, experienced instructors and are continually engaged in professional self development courses. If our staff are not working for the company then you can guarantee they are out there on the hill, river or crag honing their skills even further. If our instructors have not competed internationally in some outdoor discipline then they have organised expeditions to some far flung corner of the world.
Jet is the company Managing Director, he set up Adventure Beyond in 1997. Jethro has been a prominent figure in the outdoor education scene in Wales since competing at International level slalom kayaking in 1995. Jethro has many strings to his bow and while still paddling, he enjoys the mountains, the sea and anything in between. His work has seen him work with universities, colleges, schools, youth groups and tourist groups in a wide variety of locations in the UK, Europe and beyond. Now the father of two young girls, Tallulah and Imara, he still finds time to travel the world in search of real adventures.
NB: A note from the site administrator - Though vertically challenged and often annoying to his friends...i.e. Jethro will always be the one who ties your rucksack to a donkey...we can only pay homage our leader's outdoor skills and instructing ability. In addition I sincerely pray that he pays my invoice before he sees this footnote!
Dai has been involved with Adventure Beyond for many years and since leaving the police force has become the company's Overseas Manager.
NB: A note from Jet - Though incredibly competent and a highly valued member of the team Dai is always on holiday but never away enough for our liking! He also has a tendancy to make our lives more difficult than neccessary.
Seb has been with Adventure beyond for two seaons now and has been tasked with the important job of getting Jet to write things down so the rest of us can help him to run the company! Seb was brought up outdoors and can successfully turn his hand to most sports (as long as it doesn't involve throwing and catching). With a wealth of personal experience in the outdoors he has been an instructor for the last 5 years.
Rhod has been a close friend of Jet since they studied together at college and has worked for Adventure Beyond for mayn years, At least those years he has been in the country!
