We have a full range of climbing experiences to suit all groups, from beginner to the experienced multi pitch climber.
Summer or winter these purpose built locations are the ideal place to learn how to climb. They are dry warm and safe. There are wall based climbing centres all over the country where we can take you to climb and show you how it is done.
Touch the rock for the first time outdoors and hopefully by the end of our starter sessions you will have caught the bug and try out some more climbs.
We will supply all the equipment you need and you will be under the instruction of one of our enthusiastic and experienced climbing instructors. You will learn the basic skills of movement on rock that are vital to success. On these sessions we will start you off on easy climbs to build up your confidence. We will help you discover your inner self and bring out the confidence in you to put you on the pathway to climbing success...the sky is the limit.
If you have climbed before then this could be the course for you. We will develop your existing skills and take you up a grade or two. We can take you on crags anywhere in South Wales including Pembrokeshire so we are not short of venues. We will show you how to make climbing more fun and easy and let you propel your self as high as your skills will allow you to go.
For those who have found a keen interest in climbing and want to take it further. With our keen experienced staff, we will teach you the skills needed to go climbing on your own safely. We will cover crag selection, route selection (guide books), equipment choice, rope management and belaying techniques. By the end of this course you should be ready to go out climbing on your own.
Having done the crag master course or gained experience somewhere else, we can now build on your leading experience. We can run our rock leader courses in North Wales, The Peak District or Pembrokeshire. These are some of the best climbing areas around and you will do everything that you do on the Crag Master course but at a more advanced level.
WHEN YOU GET TO THE TOP YOU REALISE "WHAT GOES UP MUST COME DOWN!"
Abseiling is the quick, safe and easy way to get down a rock face. It is a method used to get to the floor of the crag fast and safely. It involves descending the rope using a device called a figure of eight together with the use of a safety rope and can be great fun.
Whilst climbers use abseiling out of necessity most people consider it to be an interesting activity in itself so we take groups on abseiling sessions virtually throughout the South Wales area. Get in touch with to find out more.
