The castaway experience...
Raft building is the earliest form of travelling accross water, and its a truly beach experience. We provide all equipment including wetsuits as required, buoyancy aids, helmets and all raftbuilding equipment including cords, poles and sealed plastic barrels.
It all floats, but can you make it stay that way?
Both teams are given advice from an experienced instructor in handy knots and basic design but after that you're both competing head to head. You need to work as a team to build a sturdy raft, and you can't be slow as you complete the lagoon challenge, two team float and the bay to bay race!
Raft building works really well when combined with coasteering as a full day's activity.
You need to provide your own socks and footwear to get wet in and swimwear to wear under your wetsuit.
Cost: £35 half day, sessions start/finish at 10:00/13:00 and 14:00/17:00 respectively.
