Adventure Beyond has extensive and varied experience of leading and hiking in the hills and mountains in all areas of the UK and many areas overseas including: the Alps (EU), Pyrenees (EU), The Rockies (US), The Southern Alps (NZ), the Atlas Mountains (Morocco) and of course the Himalayas (Nepal).
We offer both fully guided walking sessions and mountain training all over the country. You might just want a local guide to see you through a mountain day or you might want a number of guides to lead a variety of groups, either way we can cater for both. Many youth organisations are now involved with the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme, which requires expedition experience for all levels. A hill walking expedition usually features in one or more stages of the award for most applicants and we are able to provide award specific D of E training and assessment at all levels. We are also able to offer support and assessments for the National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS) and other awards such as the Walking Group Leader (WGL) and Mountain Leader Awards (ML).
