Gorge Walking

Gorge walking combines our experience of rivers and rock into an activity which our clients come back for time after time.

Gorge WalkingIf you want a wet and wild day out then this is for you. By going with the flow we will jump, squeeze, float or scramble down every rapid, waterfall or canyon we can. You will have an adrenaline packed day to remember.

After meeting you at one of our venues we will kit you out in a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet and one of our highly rated guides will give you a safety briefing before you get underway. All of our meeting points are close to our activity venues so you will soon be wet but worry not as your wetsuits will keep you warm and snug whilst you have a tasty fill of our adrenaline bug!

Our gorge related activities vary due to river/rainfall levels but we have a wide range of venues to choose from so we can provide you with the ideal location to suit the needs of your group - our rivers range from sedate to white and wild!

Gorge walking is also a fantastic way to learn about the river environment - our sites are ecologically important sites and your guide will be on hand to show you it's social and natural history. This activity makes an excellent alternative geography field trip for school and college groups. Our minimum age is eight, and we will ask you to bring your own footwear (old trainers are ideal), towel and dry clothes to change into afterwards.
